Age Bar for Paragliding!
Very often, paragliding enthusiasts slither away because they feel they might be too old or perhaps too young to be paragliding.
Well, at Fly Cape Town Paragliding, we would sternly dismiss all such notions since they hold no merit! There is really no age limit for paragliding. We ourselves have had children as young as three years, going up to adults in their 70s, 80s and even 90s coming and paragliding with us. So there is really no age bar as such when it comes to paragliding.
A key point to understand is that paragliding as a whole remains one of the safest sports out there again a point of contention among many enthusiasts who are unsure about the safety aspect attached to paragliding.
Remember that while flying there are as many as 30 different paraglider lines that connect you to the wing and support your body weight fastidiously. So there is really a very slim chance that anything untoward would happen; if at all there is a precaution to be taken, it would be to do with the weather the weather should be such that it makes paragliding smooth and stable.
With safety concerns out of the way, you can see and judge for yourself, how unrestrictive paragliding is for folks from all age groups. The fact that paragliding is perfect for all age groups is accentuated by the comfort attached to doing so; with us, it is almost as though you are seated comfortably on a lounge chair with breathtaking views of Cape Town below you!
Otherwise, many folks end up being concerned about the possible discomfort attached to the experience, especially for very young children or elderly folks, whereby they presume that the seat in question is highly restrictive, along with the (presumed) notion that the safety harness is very uncomfortable none of that is true at all!
Above and beyond all of this is the immense experience that Fly Cape Town Paragliding has had over the years in conducting paragliding sessions, not only for native Capetonians but indeed for the millions who come to magical Kaapstad from right around the world.
The tandem paragliding pilots at Fly Cape Town Paragliding have in turn had enormous experience dealing with patrons of all age groups so there is really no need for concern whatsoever as far as the age of folks opting to paraglide is concerned.
